Isolmant wraps up a memorable 2023, achieving important results across various divisions and introducing a series of novelties for 2024. UnderSpecial and IsolTile, two of the most iconic and renowned products of Tecnasfalti, which represent the company’s history and innovation, grew by 8% and 15%, respectively, compared to last year, confirming that these products remain among the most requested. Among the most significant objectives, export stood out, growing by 3%, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to expanding the number of countries served abroad. Contributing to this growth were the trade fairs in which Isolmant participated for the first time, notably the Salone del Mobile in Milan—Italy’s premier international event—and the Index - International Design Exhibition in Dubai, a key trade show for the UAE market. Next year, the company will return to the Salone del Mobile with a larger booth, and will also attend Batimat in Paris to continue strengthening its presence in both the European and international markets.

Another area Isolmant is particularly proud of is training, essential for fostering a more conscious culture of acoustic well-being in the construction world. The two cycles of Isoltips, with 15 live sessions and 26 hours of online technical training, attracted 3,521 participants, with an average 95% level of interest. The training also included collaborations with educational institutions (Edicom Edizioni, H25 Formazione, ANIT, Elearningonweb, Infoweb, etc.) to provide CFP (Continuing Professional Education) to various professional orders. On average, over 40 people participated in in-person events, and over 500 attended online events, for a total of 16 sessions aimed at architects, surveyors, and industrial experts. The training effort will continue in 2024 with a greater emphasis on in-person events.

The top-performing products in 2023 were once again those for horizontal insulation, with two references showing growth: IsolTile, an innovative solution for low-thickness and underfloor applications, and UnderSpecial, the traditional subfloor product, the company’s most historic item, sold successfully for over 25 years. These two products, representing opposite ends of the spectrum, demonstrate how Isolmant covers a broad range of applications, from classic to modern. The vertical and dry insulation range also performed well, with the Isolmant 4you line showing growth. Thanks to the new configurator and a dedicated website, this product is finding its precise definition in the renovation and dry installation market, with strong demand from end-users as well.

Great results were also achieved for the new references related to design-based soundproofing. The flagship brands Isolspace and Isolspace SKIN, created to guarantee perfect acoustic correction with an eye on design, grew by 50%. Their successful debut at the Salone del Mobile demonstrated how soundproofing is becoming an increasingly versatile topic, appealing not only to those concerned with functionality but also to those focused on aesthetics.

What’s Next for 2024?

The company aims to continue and expand its work with trade associations related to horizontal insulation applications, such as organizations that unite manufacturers of radiant systems, screed layers, and installers of wooden and ceramic flooring. This increasingly proactive synergy will strengthen the technical and operational relationships within the supply chain. The same applies to the development of solutions for dry renovation and acoustic correction.

The theme of sustainability will continue to be central, in line with the Isolmant GreenPlanet protocol, which covers the entire product and process value chain—from reducing the ecological footprint to business ethics and social responsibility. The company will also explore new application possibilities to further enhance the verticality of the Isolmant range in acoustic insulation for construction.
