Indoor Air Comfort Gold certifies the lowest VOC emissions in the category to guarantee the best indoor air quality, ensuring product compliance with EU specifications, with the criteria imposed by the most relevant eco-labels and with international certifications of sustainable buildings such as LEED, BREEAM etc. | The German Blue Angel ecolabel has been among the most recognized product certifications at European level since 1978. It defines rigorous standards for the selection of products with high requirements in terms of sustainability and performance. | Certificate issued by the ICMQ certification body which certifies the conformity of Isolmant products to the declared values regarding the content of recycled and/or recovered material and/or by-product through the process of the mass balance and in compliance with ISO 14021. | The ISCC certification confirms the highest sustainability requirements for Isolmant's production, logistics and distribution chain, certifying the entire supply chain to guarantee the sustainable origin of the raw materials made from non-fossil sources. |
LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a building sustainability certification system used in over 100 countries and based on a credit system for the design, construction and management of sustainable buildings and areas. There are no LEED certified products, but only products congruent with the standard that can contribute to achieving a score with the aim of evaluating the entire building. By adding the scores obtained in the indicated categories, a specific level of LEED certification is obtained: CERTIFIED (which is the basic level), SILVER, GOLD or PLATINUM.
The ITACA protocol is a tool for assessing the level of energy and environmental sustainability of buildings. Among the most widespread evaluation systems, it allows you to verify the performance of a building with reference not only to energy consumption and efficiency, but also taking into consideration its impact on the environment and human health, thus encouraging the realization of increasingly innovative buildings, with zero energy, reduced water consumption, as well as materials which in their production involve low energy consumption and at the same time guarantee high comfort.
Born in England, the BREEAM method was the first tool in the world for assessing environmental sustainability in the construction sector. It is applied nowadays to buildings such as: schools, residences, offices, etc. The verification of correct application of the system is entrusted to authorized certifiers and leads to the issuing of a certificate with the environmental performance level of the building. The method considers 9 evaluation areas, each with a specific weight for the final evaluation.
The final score is determined by the summation (weighted) of the individual scores of the evaluation areas
The WELL protocol has decentralized the attention placed only on aspects of sustainable construction, focusing it on the aspects of psychophysical comfort of the users of the building. It places greater attention on the comfort, health and well-being of users, combining the environmental sustainability of the building with the satisfaction and health of the person. In this context, acoustics has also acquired greater importance, fully falling within the ten categories of the WELL protocol.
