Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and the user's terminal (usually the browser). They are mainly used for the purpose of making websites work and operate more efficiently, as well as for the purpose of providing information to the owners of the website itself. Cookies can be either session or persistent. Session cookies are stored in the terminal for a short period of time and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored in the user's terminal until a predefined expiry date. These are not directly deleted when you close your browser, but they allow us to remember the choices you make on our site and to collect information about the pages of the site visited by you, the frequency with which the site is visited, and to identify your browsing patterns in order to improve your experience on this site. Cookies, whether session or persistent, may be first-party or third-party cookies, depending on whether the party installing the cookies on the user's terminal is the operator of the site the user is visiting (in which case they will be referred to as first-party cookies) or a different party (in which case they will be referred to as third-party cookies).

Types of cookies

- Technical cookies. Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such a service" (cf. Art. 122(1) of the Code). They are not used for any other purpose and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website; analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site; functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria in order to improve the service provided to the same. Users' prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies, while the obligation to provide information pursuant to Article 13 of the Code remains in place, which the site operator, if it only uses such devices, may provide in the manner it deems most appropriate.

- Profiling cookies. Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles of the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the web. Because of the particular invasiveness that such devices may have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed of the use of such devices and thus express his or her valid consent. They are referred to in Article 122 of the Code, which provides that "the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contracting party or user or access to information already stored is permitted only if the contracting party or user has given his consent after being informed in the simplified manner set out in Article 13(3)" (Article 122(1) of the Code).

First-party cookies

The www.isolmant.com website uses technical session cookies, to the extent strictly necessary to use and navigate its website. The use of such cookies is limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site. The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other computer techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user. No personal user data is acquired by the site in this respect. We do not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature, nor do we use persistent cookies of any kind, i.e. systems for tracing users.
